Two new toolbar buttons: Go to top, Go to bottom

I'd like to see two additional buttons available for the toolbar (I don't care which toolbar): Go to top of file and Go to end of file. One click for each of these very frequent (in my experience) operations would help a lot.

Do you know that there are keyboard shortcuts for that (Ctrl-Home / Ctrl-End)?
And for selecting up / down to there use shift key in addition.
(if they do not exist, you can create them (configure - preferences - keyboard, category all, command DocumentStart / DocumentEnd / DocumentStartExtend / DocumentEndExtend))

Thank you, yes; however, most often I am "mousing around" in large files, searching, etc; in pointer mode rather than keyboard mode.
And for selecting up / down to there use shift key in addition.
Now, that I didn't know!

I don't have a Textpad available at the moment, try recording Ctrl-Home as a macro and put this macro as a button on the toolbar.

Creating macros for Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End is easy. However, I don't see a way to add them to the toolbar as buttons.
