Vertical split view of the same file (still not right in v5)

I just downloaded and tried out version 5.
One of the enhancements I hoped to see is proper support for vertical split view of the same file/Window. While Textpad allows you to split a window both vertically (left and right) and horizontally (top and bottom) to allow you to view two different sections of the file, the vertical split view is useless since there is only 1 Windows scroll bar. This means both split view is looking at the same portion of the file.
When I write code, I often need to edit two sections of the same file. Thus I use the split view very often. Since I have a wide aspect ratio screen, I want to take advantage of the width of the screen by splitting the view vertically instead of horizontally.
I am wondering if Textpad will consider enhancing this in future releases.
Thanks!
