If you buy a new license for Textpad now, are you covered for free upgrades through the entire 5.x range? (5.5, 5.6, etc.)

Also, is there a pref or registry key to revert 5.0's non-standard menus/toolbars back to the previous classic style?

Would Helios please consider clarifying http://www.textpad.com/order/upgrades.html so we know whether people who buy now are covered for 4.x + 5.x? Maybe I'm a bit daft, but as it is worded now, it is not clear. (it could mean 4.x and 5.0 but you have to pay extra for 5.5)

Did you ever find a way to get classic menus and toolbars? The new, custom ones seem clumsy and slow, and the submenus ignore the Windows MenuShowDelay setting and instead use a hard-coded delay. I want submenus to pop up instantly.

I switched to a Mac and don't use Textpad much anymore.

If I remember correctly, try switching your Windows theme to classic (or disabling the Themes service) and using Textpad 5.2
