Installed TextPad successfully in 64bit Vista install.
But it appears that I lost one feature I am really missing
When I right click a file Im used to having an "Open with TextPad" option.
This is missing.
It would be my guess that this is a registry entry(entries) that is/are not functioning properly due to installing in Vista.
Any help with a workaround to get this function working again would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Update:
Well all is not lost, TextPad is listed in the "Send to" Context Menu.
This requires an extra sub-menu navigation, but its better than nothing.
Still am curious if this can be fixed to list like in XP???
Any help appreciated, thx!

Open TextPad
Go to Configure/Preferences...
Ensure "Context menu" is unchecked
Close TextPad
Locate TextPad on the Windows Menu
Right-click the TextPad icon and choose "Run as administrator"
Click the Allow button to run TextPad as admin
Go to Configure/Preferences...
Ensure "Context menu" is unchecked (if not start over from the beginning this time)
Check "Context menu"
Close TextPad
Voila!

Hey SteveH,
I've been following your responses on this forum and I have a couple of questions for you.
Are you always an asshole? Did your mother bottle feed you as a child? Is your penis that small that you feel the need to compensate on this forum? Come on Stevey weevey, don't be shy...
