console versions

TextPad is great! I'd like to see a version for Linux for both the console mode and
X-windows. I'd also like to see a dos mode version - even if the features have to be stripped down somewhat.
I use Linux a lot and there really is no good console mode editor and the best X-windows editor i can find is Kate.
