Document selector sorting...

The document selector window always sorts alphabetically. I'd like other options (especially, at the moment, a way to sort by "Time File Has Been Opened in TextPad").
For example, I'm working on a half dozen files or so. Then I do a search of the codebase for a particular string, and open these files. I'd like an easy way to just close these recently-opened files. Instead, they're mixed in the document selector.
Granted, the Z-order of the windows puts them on top. But if I start looking at older open docs, that gets messed up.
