In older versions Textpad shows the max. number of lines/records in the actual opend file in the information-bar (down on the TP-Window).

How can I config TP (4.7.3) for getting the information?

I have no idea why, but a doubleclick on the status-bar shows this information.

But it disappears as quick as it appears after the first mouse-click, key pressed ...

Maybe it was solved this wy due to performance problems in an ealier version.
