Highlighting lines when using a vertical split bar

It would be useful if highlighting a line in one split bar pane highlights the line across both panes.

For example I work with some heavily indented code so I use the vertical split bar to see the code in the right hand pane and use a narrow left hand pane to select a whole line or group of lines. However when I do this textpad only highlights the line in the left hand pane so I can't easily see which lines of actual code are being highlighted.
