Okay after not getting any colour with my java files I came on here and found the little how to to get the java.syn file loaded.

However whenever I click on enable syntax highlighting I cannot open a file and get no files in the drop down box. I have java.syn in my textpad system folder.

Any help much appreciated as it is really doing my head in.

Check under Configure - Preferences - Folders at File Type Syntax, where your Textpad expects the syntax files to live ...
