To whom it may concern:

Hello my name is William Fulton and am trying to get more familiar w/ Java and using TextPad. I keep getting an error message that the system cannot find the file. Would you know what I am doing wrong. I am following to the letter a tutorial but can't seem to get program to compile.

I would appreciatae any direction you can give. Thank you in advance for any assistance you may give.

Take a quick look at the TP Java FAQ over here.
Should that not do it for you, look for a diffrent tool, learning Java is a worth wile task but if the tool is stopping you, look for a diffrent one.
As for learning Java I would reccomend that you google for Java related forums as these are TP oriented.
