Instead of just begging for info on the next Textpad version, here's a simple thing that could keep people happy.

There's a project I follow called Alurio. If you check out its site, under the "Sigh. Is this project still active at all?" heading, you'll see a sentence that says "The last change to the Alurio source was X hours ago."

It's simple, it's unobtrusive, it's persistent, and it proves they're not dead. Is there any way something like this could be implemented over here? Just to have something concrete to point to, to prove to folks you're not dead?

I like this idea, it might be possible to implement this with a minimal effort.
But there's a but. TP developers are doing a major version as stated by Helios. This might push their main effort away from source changes to design and analysis phases. Source updates could be next to meaningless until we get our hands on the major and Helios starts to roll out the minors. Just guessing, only my 0.02USD etc...
