Noncontiguous Text Select

Hello. I noticed that the new version of MS Word offers the ability to select noncontiguous regions of text. For instance, if I have "ABC" in my document, I can select the A and the C but not the B. To do this, you hold down the CTRL key after making your initial selection -- similar to the way you would select multiple (but noncontiguous) groups of files. Anyway, if I choose to copy, AC will be on the clipboard (not ABC).

I've often had a need for this, and I was surprised to see it in Word (first, at least). I don't have a need for it in Word though. Any chance of a future version of TextPad enabling this valuable feature?

Thanks!

You get close to this using Edit->Copy Other->Selection Append (Ctrl-Shift-C). See TP's help file under "Copy Selection Append command". HTH
