ScrollBar Madness

Ok, I've been using textpad for a while now, and this problem suddenly appeared:
If I try to scroll the document by dragging the scrollbar, it often resizes the window as I drag, instead of scrolling!
This happens with my Logitech USB mouse (standard HID device, no fancy driver), and also with the Synaptics touchpad built into my laptop (Latest driver D/Led from Windows Update)

It seems to be first triggered by using the scroll zone on my touchpad, which essentially finds the edge of the current frame and clics and drags the bar at the edge up and down (why it can't just send wheel events like all mice I don't know....)

Has anyone got an idea or a workaround?
