The text is too small in search-and-replace

Hi Guys :-)

I have a small gripe:
The text is too small in search-and-replace where the accuracy of the entry is of paramount importance.
I don't know who decided that the entry boxes should be so small but I do know that it was an error.
I presume that the coder works on a low-res monitor and has the eyes of a hawk - and is convinced that everybody else is just like him.
My temporary work-around is to buy a magnifying glass.
This means typing with one hand - big stretches for the shifted chars.

Have I missed an option to resize it?

There have been some discussions here about a hack to change the fonts for
the Find/Search Dialogs.
