hey community
i found a small bug in Textpad 4.5 (windows 32b edition),
i don't know if this has been fixed or reported yet
(yes, i searched around the forum before posting this..)
this is what happened:
i was editing a simple text file in textpad, i needed to copy a text from another text file, so i hit the open button, got the open file dialog, selected
the text file i needed and here is where things went wrong:
instead of clicking the OK button, i pulled the context menu down on the file and hit "open in textpad", this resulted in a crash and i was able to reproduce it several times so i thought i mention it to you guys..
funny thing, the text i needed was a quote from R. Cook:
i added a screenshot:
cheers

bloody ironic..Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
