Some ideas ...

Some things I would like to see in Textpad
External Diff Tools
It would be nice to be able to specify an external tool to diff 2 files (like Araxis Merge for example) rather than use the built in diff ... alternatively if there was a macro for the previously selected document you could use the custom tools (currently you can't because you can only specify the current document).
Clipboard entries on keyboard shortcuts
AFAICS you can only really insert a clipboard entry by clicking on it. It would be nice to be able to insert one without having to take my fingers off of the keyboard. Forexample, if you could assign individual keyboard shortcuts to clibboard entries.
Auto-templates ala VisualAssist
The VisualAssist plugin for visual studio has a feature which recognises the start of strings and offers you the choice to auto-complete them. I find this very useful, it would be nice if Textpad has a similar feature ... maybe if you could assign 'template' to a clipboard entry.
