Add option to display recent files in larger list

have option to display recent files under a separate column in a drop down list and allow more than 16 to be in the list. I converted over from using PFE (Programmers File Editor) and miss this option. I would like the recent list to be much larger. perhaps doubled or make it scrollable and make the list size user-determined. Thanks
