80 CHARS LINES

I am using Textpad for programming files. Due to limitations in the environment I need to limit the lines to only 80 chars. How do I accomplish this? Or is it possible to have, for example, a line at the 80 char mark of a line?

Open:
Configure | Preferences | Document Classes
In your filetype's class, or in the default class, check "Word break at column number", and also "Word wrapped text: Save with hard breaks".

Thanks, Do you know as well if it possible to display a line as indicator where this 80 char limit is?
