Strip Out HTML Tags

Often I need to save an HTML document as plain text, that is, without the HTML tags. As far as I can tell, when I Save an HTML doc as text, all that changes is the suffix (now txt); the content of the file is exactly the same. That's no use!
This feature is provided in a competing product, NoteTab, but I haven't tried it yet.
One thing, though. The feature should not merely strip out all text between angle brackets, since sometimes it's not an HTML tag but part of the content. It should positively identify HTML tags as such before deleting them.
Otherwise, I've no requests or complaints. TextPad has been my text editor for years and I like it.
