UNC Path support for dictionaries

TextPad looks for, or creates a file in the c:\documents and settings\{username}\Application Data\TextPad folder. We are redirecting the Application Data folder using Active Directory to a UNC path.
It appears that TextPad does not like the UNC path. Does TextPad support UNC paths, and, if not, what is a good workaround?

For my own understanding, can you explain the lack of UNC that you are experiencing?
I was able to use UNC for dictionary path.
But it made curious about regular activities also.
I just saved a file to \\server\share\folder\filename.txt with no problem.
And I was also able to open the same file using UNC path.
I did this by typing in the UNC in the field for filename.
Tested this using TextPad 4.7.3 on Win98ME.

There is a dictionary file located in C:\documents and settings\{username}\Application Data\TextPad. We are redirecting the Application Data folder to a UNC path using Active Directory.
I am getting an error when I try to open up dictionaries with a domain user, but I do not get the error when I login as local user. I have tracek this problem down to a file in this folder.
