Hi,

If I replace (using F8) a text A with another text B in whole of the document then I dont get any message saying that so many replacements have been done.
Like in Microsoft Excel one gets a message saying "Excel has completed its search and has made 8 replacements".

Is this feature available in textpad? Am I missing something here?

(If text A doesnt exist in the Textpad then I get a message saying that "Cannot find literal string: 'A' )

Watch the status line ...

No message box = did do the job (like previous post, check status bar), message box appears only on failure
