textpad 4.7 errors during startup

I have textpad 4.7.3 installed on Windows XP SP2. It works great if the users have the list folder contents right on the c: drive. If I remove the list folder contents right, textpad still works but 6 errors are displayed during startup. The errors are:

Error accessing "c:\program files\textpad 4\samples\ansichar.tcl"
No error occurred..
Error accessing "c:\program files\textpad 4\samples\ctrlchar.tcl"
No error occurred..
Error accessing "c:\program files\textpad 4\samples\doschar.tcl"
No error occurred..
Error accessing "c:\program files\textpad 4\samples\htmlchar.tcl"
No error occurred..
Error accessing "c:\program files\textpad 4\samples\htmltags.tcl"
No error occurred..
Error accessing "c:\program files\textpad 4\samples\sms.tcl"
No error occurred..

If there is going to be a textpad 5, please fix it so these errors do not occurr.
