I would like a function to toggle the visibility of the command bar (the one with 'file', 'edit', ..., 'help').

some explanation: I am a minimalist concerning my computer desktop. I remove all icons, icon bars, status bar's etc.

I found out that I can create a absolute minimal window by going to fullscreen, switch to another window (alt-tab), right click textpad on the taskbar and chose 'previous format'. the result window cannot be moved around or resized, but I hope this functionality is preserved in future versions.

sometimes I like to keep a (bible) quote of the day open on my computer. I would like that window to have no more than a window bar (to move it around, or resize when needed).

regards,

As another minimalist, I would also like to see this functionality.

Also, is there a way to completely remove the status bar somewhere in the preferences? (so you don't have to keep toggling it on the view menu)
