editing beginning of each line

I'm attempting to add a div tag at the beginning of each line of a long text file. I was copy/pasting then got the bright idea of using a macro. I tried to write it a couple of ways, but with no luck. Anyone else try this and succed? Is there a macro or a function within Textpad that will go to the beginning of each line and paste a string?

Select "Regular expression" on search window.
Search for ^
replace with
div - or whatever you want

That did it!
That will save me a lot of time along with wear & tear on my hand (from using Ctr v over and over again)
