Selecting document should raise minimised window

Sure I've seen this before, but couldn't seem to find it in "Enhancements".
It's a constant source of irritation to me that left-clicking a currently minimised file in the document selector activates the minimised window, but doesn't raise it. Now why on earth would you click on a file in the selector if you didn't want to see it !?
This is a real problem, since I frequently work with many open files, the majority of which I minimise to avoid extreme screen clutter (roll on tree-view + project management ). Then if I want to view/edit a minimised document, I have to search for it in an unruly pile of (often obscured) minimised windows.
Would this not be rather simple to implement (perhaps as a configuration option)?
