Hello,

I have tried TextPad before on Win98 and it was displaying Arabic chars (windows-1256), however when I ran it on WinXP, it's not?

Any advice is highly appreciated.

ps. Notepad and wordpad, both are displaying Arabic fine.

You can display Arabic characters in TextPad by choosing a relevant font and script, for the particular document class that you are using. For example, Courier New with an Arabic script.

If the Arabic code page isn't already installed, you can install it from the Control Panel/Regional and Language Options, under the Advanced options tab.

I hope this helps.
