How to Change the actual colors used by a syntax file?

Post by geoffalot »

Can anyone tell me how to change the actual colors used by the syntax files? I see the keyword groupings, but where are the actual colors defined?

TIA,

Geoff

The syntax files don't contain the color mappings. Those are set up only through the user interface (Configure > Preferences > Document Classes).

But a lot of people would prefer for the syntax highlighting information to be saved in files (much like the syntax files, but different, so that you can save, and then reload, different syntax coloring files for each document class).
