add option under View to make carriage returns visible

Currently there are options to make Paragraphs, Spaces, and/or Tabs visible under Prefs>View>Visible_white_space. I'd like to also have an option to make carriage returns visible. I would find this very useful to immediately identify if a file I have opened is in MS or Unix format.

That might be useful for files with mixed line endings (e.g., those initially with Unix line endings, but subsequently buggered up by the MS VC editor). Normally, a quick Alt+Enter will do the trick.
