Error with color tag

Post by insitus »

I am currently using 4.6 version. In the past I used Homesite to create the original web pages. I recenlty have been revising my HTML pages using Txtpad. Under Clip Libary/HTML tags, there are a bunch of html tags. All worked nicely "except color tags". After highliting one word (to mark up color), I double clicked one color tag (e.g., blue). Then, the hilited word was diplaced with "#0000FF". All color tags behaved like this. Could someone advise me how to go around this problem? Thanks. George

Textpad is a text editor, not a word processor.

So you can't color words (as you can't make words bold or italic).

The HTML Clip Library contains pieces of HTML source codes, it has nothing to do with colorizing words within Textpad.
