Long file path/name tooltip in recently used files list

I often work with files that have long paths. It just so happens that a lot of my files have the same name, so I end up with four or five entries in my recent files list that look like this:

1 index.php
2 x:\dev\...\index.php
3 x:\dev\...\index.php
4 x:\dev\...\dodads.php
5 x:\dev\...\index.php

It would be great if when I held my mouse over any of these entries, the full path and filename popped up so I could tell which file I was opening.

An alternative to this would be to make the Recently Used Documents portion of the menu an actual submenu which could be as wide as necessary to include the full path.
