How to use Textpad in Windows 2000 Server?

Hello
I use Textpad for the first time.Downloaded 'txpeng472.exe',I installed it in Windows 2000 Advance Server .Everytime I open a file such as *.txt or *.java,the program will down.I have to press 'Ctrl+Alt+Del' to close it .But i can create file and save it.
Later I installed it in Windows2000 Professional and everythig is ok.
For I should use SQL-server and usually work in Win 2000 Ser,I hope someone can help me.

Just a guess here, but do you have anti-virus software running? It's been known to have issues playing nicely with TextPad. A quick search of the forums ought to yield results.

I found it.It's because I have installed Netshield.
Next time I will search first.
