java/javac dos full screen

Post by spoxox »

This has the feel of a dumb question.

Upon (recently) upgrading to TP 4.7.2, my java compiles and executes from TP tools now create a full screen DOS window while operating, then return to TP as usual. Bugs me, but still works properly otherwise.

Running XP Pro SP1, Sun Java 1.4.2 (version bundled with NetBeans).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled (new) Java, removed and re-added SDK tools in TP.

I can alt-enter and reduce the size of the DOS window, but I never used to get the DOS window at all. (I almost never use command line.) Not using Java with any other tool.

I ask this here only because it started coincidentally with the TP upgrade (from v 4.5 or something).

Any ideas?

Thanks

Invoke your dos window by using TP, press alt-enter to get the window
version of it, single-click the top left icon in the title bar, select properties,
select the options tab, make sure you tick "Window" under display options. HTH
Then I open up and see
the person fumbling here is me
a different way to be
