I'm new in here and apologise if the subject has been covered before.

I've been using Textpad for some years to run a very active site with thousands of pages and I've just upgraded my hardware so have gone from Windows 98 to Windows XP.

In 98 I could do a wildcard search for specific coding.
XP appears to ignore HTML and will not produce any results.

Can someone help me, please?

Can you use TP's "find in files"? Ctrl-F5
