View document tabs for selected documents only

It would be great to have the function of setting the view document tabs, just for some documents which i want to select.
I work with a workspace having more than 20 documents.
Today i work often with only 3 of them.
It is difficult to choose always these 3 documents from the file selector with all these 20 documents.
If i could just set the document tabs for this 3 documents only, then i could access these 3 very easy.
