Directory history for the open file function

It would be great to have a drop down directory history list, when openning a new file.
It should remember the last 20 directories openned.

On Configure, Preferences, File window you can define how many files you want to show in the File option on the Main Menu showing the most recent files. That option will handle a quantity up to 16.

I am sory Bob but i think you didn't understand my request.
I am talking about a directory history list not a file history list.

AFAIK Textpad uses the system file open dialog. Therefore you should also send your request to the company producing your operating system...
