Column Ruler

Is it possible to add a column ruler to TextPad?

Make a two line ruler like this, add it to your personal clip library, name it "ruler"...Then just position your cursot and double click on your library clip.

Extend as necessary with Word Wrap OFF.
(Sorry, cannot scroll beneath it leaving at top of document).

Note: The sample ruler clip was edited on 4/2/04 to remove an extra character between 13 and 14. Sorry about that.
. The sample shown now is the corrected version that can be copied. The spaces on the first line are for presentation purposes on the forum and should actually only have 9 characters betweeen them.

What about using TextPad's split view feature?
Edit: You'd need to disable synchronized scrolling, of course.
