Rather than reinventing the wheel, any chance of releasing the editor portion of TextPad as either an ActiveX or .NET control to use in our own programs? A lot of the features I'd love to see (file management, UI customization, etc.) I already have in another editor program I've written, but the actual editing window itself in TextPad is the best in the business I feel. Having a control would allow me to implement the UI the way I like while keeping the rock-solid code of the editor where it belongs... with TextPad.

For reference, I'd gladly pay $100 for a developer license and perhaps even a few hundred for a redistributable version of the control.

I was looking around to see if TextPad did this (activex interface) and judging from the lack of people having easily searchable problems about it, I assume this is not a current feature =)

So yeah, this is my enhancement suggesion as well.
