Is there a setting to change the number of previously used find or replace items saved in the list for each of those respective windows? It appears to save 10 in the stack and I need about 15 for a repetitive find & replace scenario.

Is there anybody can answer this? I had the same question in mind, finding the current limit a little small for my needs, and found this question by searching the forums, only to find that no-one had answered!

There is a limit of ten previously used find or replace items saved in the list, and this is hard coded in TextPad, so cannot be changed.

You could create a Clip book containing your commonly used search and replace strings, and then copy and paste them into the dialog box from there.

Thanks Stephen. At least I know I have to live with it. Your idea of the clip book is a good one, which I shall probably put into service.
