Color Printing

The syntax highlighting in Textpad is really great. But it's a pity that you lose it all the moment you click on "Print". I would love to see all those colors retained when you print the document.

Anyone else?

No, everyone else who wants to print in color simply sets the check in the checkbox
Configure - Preferences - Document Classes - YourDocumentClass - Printing - In Color

Yikes. Guess I just showed off my ignorance there!

Maybe we should just forget this idea then and put it down to a bad case of RTFM.

I think this is another example of the non-intuitive nature of the UI. The principle of least-surprise applies here. Usually you look for the obvious way to do it (i.e. look in the print-dialogue) and if it's not there you often go on to something more important. I did find help under "color printing" and noted it took 14 steps to accomplish the result! Hence my desire to see TextPad printing reformed. Here is where I posted my printing discussion:
