I like the "Details" file view, so I can see all attributes; mainly for looking at the last time the file was updated.
As far as I know there is no way to tell TextPad to remember the view style for the next time a file needs to be open.
thoughts?
remember file menu display style (i.e. Icons, List, Details)

A) enhancement suggestions need to take on the 5 choice format of the other questions
B) I think that's a Window's setting. At least, if I opened up notepad, Ctrl-O change the view to detail, grab a file and repeat it, it will open back up into the list view.
However, if you find a way to make it happen, I'd love to know. My memory's not as sharp as it once was so I'm always opening directories and sorting by most recently updated.
