I have a problem here, if I set textpad to show the line numbers in the left gutter, and then I close textpad and reload it, then it doesn't show the line numbers again. Same thing for word wrap.

Is this a bug, I couldn't find anything on this in the forum.

Try this:

Before setting preferences, close all documents, workspaces.

Set your preferences

Close TextPad

Reopen TextPad, you should be all set.
