I'd like to see an SQL formatter.

We often have to 'dump' sql from other 3rd party monitoring tools to review and tune it. It can sometimes take hours to format it it into a readable source.

I am current trialling something from Quest Software called SQL Navigator, only because it has a sql formatter - we are not interested in anything else it has to offer.

So, this would be a great benefit for us. And having a quick search of the web I reckon you'll also fill a potentially profitable niche.

The other option is to find a SQL Formatter that can be called from a DOS command line.

I've asked QUEST if their PL/Formatter product can be invoked from the command line and both times they gave me the standard "we've created an enhancement request for your problem"...
