minor problem with view in web browser

I have searched the forums but not seen any reference to this. This is minor but it is also annoying.

I have my toolbars on I.E. set the way I like them; the links to the websites I work on are in the links toolbar and easily accessible. The toolbars are locked.

When I am in TextPad and click on "View in Web Browser" TP opens a different I.E. window, one without the links toolbar or the address window showing. I have to open the View menu and make the links and address window viewable; also I have to drag them to where I want them. This 2nd version of I.E. is also missing my custom background graphic. So does this mean that TextPad is calling up a different .exe or settings somehow of I.E.? Is this related to the Folders settings?

I would like to have my normal I.E. windows used by TextPad. Call me picky  but sometimes I like to open the online version of the website I'm working on to compare with what I'm designing.

Please try making the following change in Internet Explorer:

From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options. Click on the Advanced tab, and then check the option to "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts". Click Apply.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for the response.
It was already checked, but I unchecked and checked it --
It works properly for .htm and .html files, but not .shtm and .shtml files.

:?

In TxP preferences, "View in web browser" is check for SHTM class documents.
