Perl Syntax?

Hello,
How are people setting up to do perl coding?
NEVERMIND THIS ONE ---------- I never noticed that the syntax files were grouped in several files...I always wondered why nobody ever wrote a syntax file for anything that started with a letter higher than G...
Do you set up a special document type, has anyone set up a special syntax definition file, if not what is the preferred substitute?
