issue with read-only being remembered =/

Hi,

We use cvs at work, and we check out all our files as read-only. When one of us edits. we set them to read/write.

Unfortunately, textpad still remembers them as read-only if I use file > open etc. If I drag them into an open textpad from an explorer window, they're fine.

It's annoying, because I use workspaces a lot - anyone know something I'm not doing right?

Thanks much :)

TextPad 4.5 mistakenly stored the read-only state of a file, at the time it was first opened, in its workspace. The current release only stores read-only, if you explicitly check that option on the Open File dialog box. However, it does not correct the state of files in existing workspaces. Closing and reopening files is the only way to do that.

You can upgrade to 4.7.1 for free (assuming you've paid for a license  ).
