I just want one instance of Textpad running

Hi, apologies if this is a common question but I searched the archives and came up blank. Once upon a time whenever I used the right mouse button on a file in windows explored to bring up the context menu and then selected 'textpad' the file being opened would become available in the textpad process already running on my machine. Now, it seems that everytime I open a file in this way textpad starts up a new process.

I'm running XP Professional, can anyone help me stay at just one Textpad process to edit all my files?

Thanks
Keith

OK, so I fixe it myself. Sorry for bothering everyone. I went to
Configure->Preferences->General and unchecked the box that allowed multiple instances to run.
