Ever since I have installed the new version of TextPad win32 (4.7) that uses this awful invention called installer.msi, I can no longer login into my Metastorm e-work environment which I use as a plugin for GroupWise email.

We run NT4 sp6 workstations on Novell clients connected to a Novell Server.

Every thing was running smoothly until I installed the installer.msi that comes with TextPad 4.7; it screwed up everything.

I uninstalled TextPad 4.7, but I cannot get rid of this installer.msi.

How do I get rid of the installer.msi ?

Is there a version of TextPad 4.7 without this installer.msi crap ?

Many thanks for your help

Phil

NSIS http://www.nullsoft.com/free/nsis/

Its free
It works
It doesn't use MB just for the installer
It isn't written by M$
