Just installed the newest version of TextPad 4.7 to my PC using NT 4. A few problems with the install due to non-standard folder names. So, I just deleted the old copy of 4.62 and installed as a new install. No biggie.

Now, I am inside NT Explorer and want to edit the file. Highlight the file name I want, do a right-click, and check out the options. Uh-oh. I don`t
have the "Open With TextPad" option anymore.

Went to "Configure | Preferences | General" and all of the options listed under the "Put shortcuts to TextPad on..." are enabled, except for the "Quick Launch Toolbar", which is grayed out.

Any help? I miss my shortcut!

Try the following:

under Configure, Preferences, General
disable all shortcuts.
Click ok, terminate textpad.
under Configure, Preferences, General
enable those shortcuts you want.
Click ok (might be necessary to terminate Textpad again...)

That worked, though I had thought that I had done that. Oh well, all is well
