Configuration setting to set Word-Wrap as default

I can not believe this is not an option in current version, but I can not find the setting if it is.
In order to configure TextPad to open files with Word wrap enabled as the default, you will need to implement the following procedure:
From the Configure menu choose:
1. Preferences
2. "+" sign next to Document classes
3. Default
4. Check the option to "Word wrap long lines"
5. Check "Apply these settings to all document classes"
6. Click Apply / OK.
