I have changed the configuration for default and text files to print in portrait, but it always goes back to Landscape when I open TextPad again.


How can I change the printing default to Portrait so it "sticks."

Hello Elaine......
May I suggest that you try the configuration settings again:

From Main Menu:
Configure, Preferences,
Left click on the Plus Sign next to Document Classes.
Left click on the Plus Sign next to Default.
Left on Printing
Left click on the button at lower right for "Printer..."
Activate the radio button at lower right for Landscape.
Click on OK.
Click on Apply.
Click on OK.
Close TextPad.
Open TextPad and check settings will be set for Landscape.

That worked, although I set it for Portrait. I thought I was doing the same thing before. Perhaps I didn't hit Apply each time and just clicked ok.
